Even in the IFCC units used in some countries, I don't think the scale goes that high. Its also amazing that a high fat diet took me from a total cholesterol of 146 to 212 in roughly six weeks. Then another four weeks and I was at 231 with a very high LDL-P of 1451. I wasquite alarmed.

DO YOU NEED CONTROL SOLUTION Control solution needs to be compatible to the strips that you are using, they are not all the same. The control solution doesn't do anything for the meter, it is a solution with a known glucose content that should give a reading within a specified range if the strip isgood.
