DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND FISHERIES ADVANCING QUEENSLAND’S PRIORITIES: * Create jobs in a strong economy * Keep Queenslanders healthy * Protect the Great Barrier Reef * Be a responsive government COVID-19 UPDATE: We are still open for business; however, to manage the risk associated with COVID19, all of our offices are closed to the public until further notice – for all enquiries, call 13 25 23 or email info@daf.qld.gov.au. Dedicated customer phone services, including the Fishwatch hotline (1800 017 116), the National Emergency Animal Disease Hotline (1800 675 888) and the National Exotic Plant Pest Hotline (1800 084 881) are available as normal. Many of our field staff are continuing their work in the community, with staff well informed to follow appropriate health guidelines. At the moment, we are avoiding activities in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to reduce the risks to these more vulnerable Queenslanders. There has been minimal disruption to services, but there may be some delays – we have plans in place to ensure we can continue delivering essential services and support to Queenslanders.
