OPINION: STUDENTS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING ON CAMPUS The 2019 fall semester rate for a parking permit on the CU campus is $221, and a full academic year permit is $442. The university is essentially forcing students to pay hundreds of dollars just to get to class on time as if the tens of thousands of dollars they already pay for their degree isn’t enough. Not to mention, many commuting OPINION: WHY ARE THERE SO MANY BISEXUALS? In early 2016, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that from 2011 to 2013 “higher numbers of both women and men identified as bisexual, 5.5 percent of women and 2 percent of men, compared with 3.9 percent and 1.2 percent respectively .”. Researchers collected data from over 9,000 participants aged 18-44. OPINION: HOW WE CAN TRY TO PREVENT SINKHOLES More than anything, practices that involve the relocation or removal of water increase risk of sinkholes. SEX ETIQUETTE FOR THE DORM ROOMS Dorm-room life is your first experience of freedom, and this includes freedom of all things sexual.
