Be a part of Compost Coalition We are working to keep organic materials out of landfills and return the nutrients back to our soils by connecting those producing "waste" with those that can use it. BE A PART OF THE SOLUTION! Be a part of the solution! Compost Coalition will help you connect to the people and resources you need to divert organic materials from our landfills and back into nutrient-rich earth. We don’t have to fill up our landfills with kitchen scraps, leaves, paper, coffee grounds, grass clippings, spoiled food or other organic materials when there are chickens that would love to scratch through RESOURCES – COMPOST COALITION Local Links . Urban Patchwork. We work with neighbors to turn unused yard space into farmland that provides fresh, organically grown produce and eggs to the nearby residents of each neighborhood farm.. We not only help provide food for our bodies, we offer farm start-up programs; workshops for residents on nutrition, home food production and storage; training and job creation; and more.GROUND TO GROUND
