GETTING STARTED > LICENSING Each installation of the ClearCanvas Workstation requires a valid license to access the premium features. If you obtain this software from a reseller, please contact the reseller for the license key. IMAGE VIEWER > ADVANCED VIEWING > STANDARDIZED UPTAKE Important Note. SUV calculation in ClearCanvas Workstation is based on generally accepted methods and equations. However, some institutions may use methods and/or equations that differ from those stated in this user's guide. Prior to use in a clinical setting, it is important that all equations be confirmed and an independent evaluation be conducted of the SUV values reported by ClearCanvas DICOM SERVER INSTALLATION > UPGRADING DICOM SERVER Upgrading From a Previous Version. The ClearCanvas DICOM Server installer can upgrade from prior official releases of DICOM Server and ImageServer Community Edition, including the IMAGE VIEWER > ADVANCED VIEWING > SHOW ANGLES 1 The Cobb Angle is a measure of the scoliosis curvature in a patient's spine computed by measuring the angle between two specific vertebrae. As the lines drawn parallel to the vertebrae typically do not intersect onscreen, the angle is measured by drawing lines perpendicular to the original lines such that the new lines intersect onscreen. The new intersection has the same angles as theIMAGE VIEWER
1 After the evaluation period, you will no longer be able to create new attachments. However, you will still be able to view them. 2 For data integrity reasons, support for JPEG 2000 is not available during the evaluation period (i.e. when receiving such a study, the server must decompress it first). To evaluate this feature, please contactSynaptive Medical.
DICOM SERVER INSTALLATION Before Starting the Installer. Before you run the DICOM Server installer, you must prepare the Filesystem(s) used for the storage of DICOM studies. This is usually not an issue if you are using one of the computer's local disks, but if you are using network storage or other external disks, you must ensure that the Filesystem is accessible prior to running the installer or it will not be able to FEATURES > WEB ACCESS TO DICOM OBJECTS (WADO SUPPORT) The ImageServer software supports the DICOM Web Access to DICOM Objects (WADO) standard. The ImageServer currently supports the application/dicom MIME type for processing WADO requests. CONFIGURING THE IMAGESERVER > COMPRESSION OF ONLINE STUDIES Introduction.
