100 years of camping. In 1921, Jacob & Rose Gurevich founded Cherry Hill Poultry Farm, where they offered the first (very informal) campsites to passing travelers. 5 generations of family ownership later, we are overjoyed to celebrate our 100th year of camping. We owe everything to our wonderful guests, and we’ll be spending this yearCHERRY HILL PARK

We stayed in one of the premium tent sites and had an amazing experience! The grounds were immaculately kept and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We had a mix up on the pricing of a regular tent site, which the supervisor took care of immediately. Upon arrival we were informed that they had bumped us up to a premium tent site at no extra charge. This site was beyond our expectations and we will most definitely be staying there again on our next adventure! The lot was very spacious: it had a fire pit surrounded by comfy adirondack chairs, gazebo included a seating area, hammock, concrete pad with picnic table and there were lights in the trees. The premium tent site location sits behind RVs so it is secluded and quiet. There is also a washing station for the tent sites, and bathrooms are a very short walk away. 6 of us in total stayed on the site with two tents. It looked like the sites varied in size, but had all the same amenities. We can't wait for our next trip!-Marissa M
Wow, one of the best parks we have stayed in for the last 10 years on the road. Very helpful, courteous, and friendly staff. Check-in was quick and easy, and they were extremely helpful in finding us a site which would accommodate our coach, while allowing us an unobstructed satellite fix. This park has just about everything you would need on your trip. They provide metro information, tickets, and tour offerings for the DC area. A metro bus stop is onsite as well. The interior roads are paved and easy to maneuver, and the whole park is well manicured and maintained. Most of the sites are fairly level, and the utilities are easily accessible. In fact, our site had 3 separate electrical boxes, each with 20, 30, and 50 amp receptacles. When we return to the DC area, Cherry Hill Park will be our only choice for our base of operations.-Glen
Oh my gosh, ohhh my gosh!!! I don't even know where to start, I LOVED this place so much. The premium site was amazing and beautiful, the staff were great and friendly, the dog park and obstacles for them were so awesome, the store was nice and had camping items too, the amenities offered were outstanding, the cafe was great for not having to cook dinner, the night bus tour was worth it! I really really enjoyed this place for a week. It has got to be the best RV resort I've ever been to. I absolutely will be coming back and recommending this place to others! Thank you Cherry Hill Park for making our stayone to remember!
-Katie D.
This was our first experience with an RV in an RV park. It could not have been more satisfactory! Everyone here was patient and encouraging to our questions and inexperience. The bus to the Metro was so simple and convenient that we grew comfortable early in this visit with visiting DC. Amazingly clean and comfortable with all the amenities. -Cameron and Margaret Don’t hesitate, book this campground! So close to metro station, five minutes with little traffic, or you can take their bus to the station. Excellent choice for a home base when touring DC! Hot tub at the end of a long day of walking was appreciated! Multiple pools and a splash pad for Kiddos. Oh, and updated mini golf course too- so cute and fun! Very safe and secure campground. We transferred to Cherry Hill last minute after reading reviews from the KOA. We are SO GLAD we did! Clean, professional, safe, large campground with EASY access to DC! Perfect for us! Would highly recommend to our closest friends. (And we heard that they take the KOA discount too, we used our Good Sam, but helpful to know.)-Huelsman Family
We came to Cherry Hill Park for the week of July 4th and believe this is the best campground we have ever stayed at. Every single staff person was pleasant, cleanliness and the enjoyment of the campers is a top priority for them! The park is well thought out, laid out and well kept! We decided to book another week here over Labor Day; so, we’ve been here for the past week. No disappointments this time either. We had friends visit while we’re here and it changed their pre-conceived ideas about what camping “looks like”. Thank you to everyone at Cherry Hill Park for making our experiences wonderful and providing awesome memories! We really don’t want to leave tomorrow! I know we’ll make plans to be back!— Sherrie
This is one of the best campgrounds I have ever stayed at. Resort like living. There are 2 swimming pools, a cafe, a store, laundry facilities. The restrooms or bath houses are the cleanest I have ever seen and smelled. You can smell the cleanliness upon walking in. There are showers with great water pressure and hot water. Great staff! Super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!!!— Rebecca C
We camped here in a 45’ bus and found EXCELLENT facilities and WONDERFUL staff! Highly recommend! Their business model should be the example for all. Have never experienced such genuinely friendly, caring, and competent employees (from reception, to gate keeper, to maintenance & grounds, to on-site cafe employees, and pool staff) They have done so much to ensure a great experience. Whether your your plan is to simply enjoy the campground or tour our nation’s capital, Cherry Hill Park has done their homework and has earned an A+.— GBA
