The Internet-based portal allows students, parents and guardians to see attendance, grades, assignments, teacher's comments and upcoming school events online. This portal replaces other portals such as K-12 Planet and eClass Grades that were used in some CCRCE schools. The new portal offers the same features as the former portals, includes EMPLOYMENT | CHIGNECTO CENTRAL REGIONAL CENTRE FOR EDUCATION Employment. Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education employs approximately 2700 individuals across a wide geographical range covering East Hants, Colchester, Pictou and Cumberland Counties. Report Cards are issued for students from grades Primary to 12 three to four times each year: Grade Primary to 6: fall, winter/spring and the end of June. Grade 7-9: fall, winter spring and the end of June. (Some students in grades 7-9 may receive three report cards, depending on the school configuration). SCHOOL CLOSURE INFORMATION E.B. Oxford Regional Education Centre - open - regular bus service. Parrsboro Regional Elementary School - open - regular bus service. STUDENT TRANSFER REQUESTS Student Transfer Process. CCRCE will consider requests from parents (guardians) and/or students (if age 19 years or over) for a student to transfer to a school outside their home school’s catchment area. We reserve the right to transfer a student in exceptional circumstances, provided it is in the best interest of the student and/or the school. 2021 TEEN READERS' CHOICE AWARD Students-Are you looking for a good read to enjoy over March Break? OPTIONAL FRENCH PROGRAMS Core French is a compulsory course for all students in Nova Scotia from Grades 4 to 9, as per the Public School Program. Students develop their French oral, reading and writing skills by participating in a variety of French literacy-based learning opportunities for approximately 10% of their instruction.
