CCA FLORIDA RELEASES 10,000 REDFISH IN CHARLOTTE COUNTY CCA Florida Releases 10,000 Redfish in Charlotte County. Along with our partners at Duke Energy and the FWC, we’re excited to continue our focus on red tide recovery efforts with the shoreline release of 10,000 additional redfish in Port Charlotte on Tuesday, August 6 th. The release included approximately 10,000 juvenile redfish (7 – 8 GEARING UP PLANNING FOR THE CCA PHOENIX REEF The CCA Florida Charlotte Chapter worked with Lee County, Manhattan Road and Bridge, Ingman Marine and Coastal Precast for two and a half years planning a new artificial reef 12 miles offshore of Boca Grande Pass and 10 miles out of Gasparilla Pass in approximately 50 feet of water.
