POLITICS IN GEORGIA: RULING PARTY IN OPEN CONFRONTATION On 7 June, the founder of the ruling Georgian Dream party Bidzina Ivanishvili responded to the forming of a new party in Georgia by the country’s former Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia (Caucasus Watch reported), stating that he was not affiliated with the party.. AZERBAIJAN BECOMES TURKEY’S TOP GAS SUPPLIER In May 2020, Azerbaijan officially became Turkey’s top gas supplier.
