THE 24-HOUR THEATRE PROJECT FEATURED A CONFLICTED OLD BYU–Hawaii students in the 24-hour Theatre Project class performed 10-minute skits they had only 24 hours to write, prepare and perform on Saturday, May 22. The three skits were performed in the McKay Auditorium with a limited number of people in the audience due to COVID-19 restrictions. But the skits were also lived streamed so people could watch them without being the in auditorium. NARANTSATSRAL GANZORIGT, THE WINNER OF RUSSIAN AND KOREAN Narantsatsral Ganzorigt, a sophomore from Mongolia, said dancing at the Polynesian Cultural Center’s Huki show helped her learn about Polynesian cultures while helping her overcome her fear of dancing on water and screaming loud, “Cheehoos.” Her friends said she is a persistent, talented and soft-spoken person with a big heart. PRACTICING SELF-CARE AND BEING AROUND SUPPORTIVE PEOPLE Ellie Magleby said her body positivity increased when she started designating one day each week to self-care and self-love. Her most recent self-care day involved breakfast while watching the sunrise, a hike on her own and a beach day full of swimming and soaking up thesun.

THE 24-HOUR THEATRE PROJECT FEATURED A CONFLICTED OLD BYU–Hawaii students in the 24-hour Theatre Project class performed 10-minute skits they had only 24 hours to write, prepare and perform on Saturday, May 22. The three skits were performed in the McKay Auditorium with a limited number of people in the audience due to COVID-19 restrictions.
