BOB BRINKER FAN CLUB BLOG: MARK HULBERT ON TIMER DIGEST Timer Digest and No Load Fund Investor have excellent long term records. In the Barrons's Online article What the Best Market Timers Are Saying Mark Hulbert reports only three of the top nine market timers he follows are bullish or on the bearish side of neutral but their average equity allocation is 59%. In his most recent issue, which was published in early June, editor Bob Brinker wrote that his market timing model "remains in favorable territory as we approach the start of the summer season. We continue to expect stock prices to work BOB BRINKER FAN CLUB BLOG: JANUARY 2008 Bob Brinker has said the Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke has been making rookie mistakes to worry too much about inflation. In a speech yesterday FOMC Chairman Ben Bernanke strongly hinted the Fed would reduce its short-term interest-rate target, probably by half a percentage point from its current 4.25%, at the central bank's next meeting, Jan. 29-30. BOB BRINKER FAN CLUB BLOG: 2007 Bob Brinker FINALLY correctly stated the link for oil prices and CPI, a measure of inflation, Saturday. If anyone wonders if Bob Brinker reads the blogs and message boards that are critical of some of what he says, yesterday's complete about face where he correctly stated the FOMC could raise rates to lower the impact of higher price oil on inflation should end all doubts. skip to main | skip to sidebar BOB BRINKER FAN CLUB BLOG==> BOB
