The Tension Leg Platform (TLP) uses the buoyancy of its floater to tension mooring lines between the floater and the anchor points in order to stay stable. Bluewater has developed the Floating Wind TLP for harsh FLOATING TIDAL SYSTEMS Floating Tidal Systems. BLUETEC, Bluewater’s Tidal Energy Converter floating platform, moored in shallow waters with high currents, supporting tidal turbine (s) and its power take-off cable. Tidal currents are predictable, resulting in a robust power source. Platform designs are available for Tidal Turbines ranging from 1x 200 kW to 2x1 MW.
