The Cortinas played souped up Chuck Berry, in the style of Dr Feelgood, and went on to write and record one of the first Punk singles to be released. The Ten Cent Shooters is a Western Australian three-piece acoustic blues band, playing in a style based on country blues, a genre which combines traditional European styles and instruments with African-American derived rhythms and songs. The Riders have been playing their own brand of acoustic feel-good blues in pubs, wineries, beer gardens, festivals and private shows around the south-west of WA for 22 years. From their home in the Blackwood Valley they have clocked up thousands of miles on the odometer of, initially, their trusty Subaru and now their zippy fuel-efficient Hyundai.BLUES AT BRIDGETOWN

The Ten Cent Shooters is a Western Australian three-piece acoustic blues band, playing in a style based on country blues, a genre which combines traditional European styles and instruments with African-American derived rhythms and songs. Jack Royale, on guitar and vocals, cut his teenage teeth on the R&B pub rock scene in 70s England before discovering Punk. The Cortinas played souped up Chuck Berry, in the style of Dr Feelgood, and went on to write and record one of the first Punk singles to be released. Having popped their Blues at Bridgetown cherry last year, Esperance trio Grand Casual are champing at the bit to get back. “A highlight of 2018 was the overwhelming support we received at Freemasons Hotel on the Friday,” says vocalist/guitarist, Kyron Smithson.BLUES AT BRIDGETOWN
