Artist Statement | Portraits of Time. Time is the shape of an old oak as the winds caress and sculpt the bark, defining hardship and beauty. Time is the trunk that splits apart in great age to accommodate the tempest. Evidence of time is revealed in the furrowed bark of an ancient tree, gnarled, crooked, and beautiful. Portraits of Change.ARTIST STATEMENT
Diamond Nights. As night falls over the Makgadikgadi Pans, giant trees stand starkly against the horizon. Leafless branches reach for the light. On the opposite side of the sky, Earth’s shadow is rising. True wildness manifests itself in the form of curling black branchesin

Odin's Cove is about a sense of place. It is a celebration of the beauty of nature in a visually stimulating landscape where untamed bramble and ivy suggest ancient origins. Where a regenerative view of the earth can be found, in the lush cliffs that gently slope to the sea, where music can be heard in the beating of a raven's wing.WILD HOPE VOL 2

Many of the trees I have photographed have survived because they are out of reach of civilization; on mountainsides, private estates, or on protected land. Certain species exist only in a few isolated areas of the world. For example; there are 6 species of spectacular baobabs, found only on the island of Madagascar. Sadly, the baobab is now one of the three most endangered species on theTHE SAVAGE GARDEN

ISLAND OF THE DRAGON'S BLOOD There are few places left on earth so remote and untouched by time. Socotra is one of the world’s last truly wild places with a uniquely diverse and enchanting landscape of surreal beauty. Glimpsing the dragon’s blood trees that mantle the Haghier Mountains, one imagines this is what the world must have looked like millions of years ago. At first glance, these intricately structured plants seem demure in nature, almost coy. Leaning forward they beckon and invite. They extend themselves seductively.ARTIST STATEMENT

This portfolio focuses on totem-like beliefs and practices connecting man to animal. In a twilight world, united under a banner of ritual, we see evidence of devotion where all things are connected.ARTIST STATEMENT
Odin's Cove is about a sense of place. It is a celebration of the beauty of nature in a visually stimulating landscape where untamed bramble and ivy suggest ancient origins. Where a regenerative view of the earth can be found, in the lush cliffs that gently slope to the sea, where music can be heard in the beating of a raven's wing.ARTIST STATEMENT
In Augustan Rome, it was believed that chickens were the divine messengers of the gods. The title is a reference to a time when birds and animals were much more important to man.* Portfolio
