The Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) is a networking community that assists local authorities who are striving to improve their frontline services. STATE OF UK PARKS SURVEY 2021 APSE and CFP are keen to build on both the previous State of UK parks research and also APSE’s own state of the market research to create a comprehensive picture of the current state of our parks and greenspaces. It is built upon the key idea that the nature of work and both how local authority and service objectives are achieved is changing at a rapid pace. GUIDE TO THE APSE/LIVERPOOL URS FRAMEWORK All UK public authorities that are subject to the public procurement rules can make use of the APSE/Liverpool URS framework. This includes councils, housing associations and government departments, amongst others. Where a supplier has provided clear pricing for the framework, customers will be able to make a Direct Award to that supplier. CARBON LITERACY FOR THE FRONTLINE Carbon Literacy Award. This course is run online as a full day or as two half-days. An additional two hours of individual work is required to achieve the Carbon Literacy Award. LEGAL AND PRACTICAL MANAGEMENT OF CEMETERIES (ICCM) APSE Training and the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management (ICCM) are offering this online masterclass to help local authority bereavement managers with legal and practical compliance. In addition to addressing common problems, issues and mistakes, participants will also explore the income that can be realised by burial authorities.
