The life sciences are at the forefront of innovation, blending science and technology into products and services that have a positive impact on HISTOTECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT The mission of the Alamance Community College Histotechnology Program is to graduate histotechnicians with entry-level competencies to include technical and professional skills acquired through relevant training as defined by current professional expectations and the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science. The major program goal is to graduate students who will HORTICULTURE TECHNOLOGY Horticulture Technology. The Horticulture Technology program at Alamance Community College offers courses that provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES Alamance Community College offers quality training programs such as initial provider certification courses, BLS and ALS continuing education, and specialty courses for the experienced provider and, or the lay community member. ACC is credentialed by the N.C. Office of EMS as an advanced education institution, with approval to conduct initial and continuing education training for EmergencyMOTORCYCLE SAFETY
Classes are rarely cancelled due to weather. Students should be prepared to ride in all types of weather.; Students that have significant difficulty or become a risk to themselves or others will not be permitted to continue the course and will not receive a refund.REAL ESTATE COURSES
Real Estate Pre-Licensing - face to face. This course satisfies the education requirements for individuals wishing to become licensed as a provisional real estate broker. CDL PREP & CDL-B DRIVING CDL Prep This class will help students gain the knowledge needed to acquire a CDL-B permit. The class will cover benefits of having a CDL, safe driving techniques, CDL requirements, CDL Endorsements and review the CDL handbook including testing tips.NO DRIVING INVOLVED. EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT) This course will provide the foundation for the student to function as an Emergency Medical Technician in various out-of-hospital settings. The class consists of a combination of lectures, web-enhanced supplements, skills demonstration and practice, and simulated patientexperiences.
