ANNE ALLGOOD ⋆ ACT THEATRE Anne Allgood is overjoyed to be an ACT Core Company member. She has appeared previously at ACT in over a dozen roles, notably the title roles in Mary Stuart and Miss Witherspoon, and most recently in The Crucible. On Broadway, Anne appeared in The Most Happy Fella, Carousel, The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, and Imaginary Friends. She has toured the U.S. and JAYANT BHOPATKAR ⋆ ACT THEATRE Jayant Bhopatkar (. Harballabh Roy. ) Jayant has been a fixture in Seattle-based South Asian performing arts organizations like Pratidhwani, Seattle Maharashtra Mandal, Xperiments, and IAWW. Over the past 30 years, he has acted in or directed over 70 Marathi, Hindi, and English plays. At Pratidhwani, Jayant has performed with all 4wings
SARAH ROSE DAVIS ⋆ ACT THEATRE SARAH ROSE DAVIS (Hope Cladwell) is thrilled to be making her ACT debut! Davis was recently seen in Rock of Ages at The 5 th Avenue Theatre. Davis also performs at the Can Can Culinary Cabaret in Pike Place Market. Favorite credits: Holiday Inn (Starring as Linda Mason), Pajama Game, How to Succeed, Rent, A Chorus Line (The 5 th Avenue Theatre); Funny Girl (starring as Fanny Brice) at UNTIL THE FLOOD ⋆ ACT THEATRE Daeld Orlandersmith previously performed Yellowman at ACT in 2002. MISSION AND HISTORY ⋆ ACT THEATRE A Contemporary Theatre – ACT was founded in the summer of 1965 by Gregory A. Falls (1922-1997), head of the University of Washington’s theater department at the time. The theatre thrived in a former community hall at the base of Queen Anne Hill until 1996 when they moved into their new home, the historic Eagles Auditorium in downtownSeattle.
