STELLER’S SEA EAGLES ARRIVE AT ZOO BOISE They are the largest of all sea eagles, with a wingspan of up to 8 feet! They are also the rarest birds-of-prey, found in remote regions of Russia and Japan. Zoo Boise’s new residents are named Ursula and Vlad the Impaler. Ursula is a 14-year- old female who was born at theCincinnati Zoo.

PARKING CHANGES INSIDE JULIA DAVIS PARK The City of Boise Parks and Recreation Department will be implementing new parking changes, which will affect guests visiting Julia Davis Park and Zoo Boise. Beginning September 1, 2019 all parking will be limited to two hours year-round, Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm. Any violators may be ticketed or towed. GORONGOSA NATIONAL PARK EXHIBIT Gorongosa National Park Exhibit. The Gorongosa National Park Exhibit has over 20 animal species including: African Plated Lizard. African Wild Dog. African-crested Porcupine. Assassin Bug. Baboon. Black Crowned Cranes. Emerald Spotted Wove Dove.RED-CAPPED CARDINAL
Red-Capped Cardinal. Listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. North and central South America, east of the Andes Mountains. Tropical lowlands, swamps, mangroves, oxbow lakes, and other semi-open areas near water. Occasionally in lightly wooded wet habitats in towns orcities.
PARKING CHANGES INSIDE JULIA DAVIS PARK The City of Boise Parks and Recreation Department will be implementing new parking changes, which will affect guests visiting Julia Davis Park and Zoo Boise. Beginning September 1, 2019 all parking will be limited to two hours year-round, Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm. Any violators may be ticketed or towed.
