Reset the windows. If your windows aren't behaving correctly try this. Push the open window button until the window is open, then keep it presses for 5 seconds longer. First of all more bolts are either stronger or spread the forces more evenly. Also I think that 5 bolt pattern probably uses 5 sets of helix gears. If you use a wheel that is 0.5" wider, and has the same off-set, it will not mean that get an extra 0.5" closer to the wheel arch. You will get 0.25" extra width on the outside of the wheel and 0.25" extra width on the inside. I've always liked the BMW Z4 E85 RELAY LOCATIONS AND DIAGRAM Re: BMW z4 e85 relay locations and diagram. Post. by BmwWrench » Mon Feb 16, 2015 7:19 pm. A simple yes or no, would do. To my recent understanding there is no separate relay for the electric cooling radiator fan. It is built into the electric radiator fan. And it cannot be changed without a spare parts fan and some surgery. BOOT RELEASE AND OTHER USEFULL KEY OPTIONS Trunk button press (does not need to be held down) - Open Boot (can be done with doors locked) The boot is automatically locked when the trunk is pressed down. The only way to open it again is either press the button in the footwell, press the key unlock button, orRESET THE WINDOWS
Reset the windows. If your windows aren't behaving correctly try this. Push the open window button until the window is open, then keep it presses for 5 seconds longer. Push the close window button until it is closed, then release. This should reset the memory RADIATOR FAN PROBLEM The radiator fan is controlled by a theromstat which detects the coolant temperature and as it rises above a pre set limit the fan will cut in to reduce the temperature. Sounds like either the thermostat is defective or the temperature sensor. Diagnostic check should identifythe fault code.
ENGINE SWAPS ON E85'S Re: engine swaps on E85's. Post. by Lightning87 » Fri Aug 03, 2012 1:14 pm. the thing about reselling it is a valid point, but you guys think in UK prices, as at your shores, an M is around 15k pounds, in holland it's gonna coast me around 30k euro's witch is a P1050 & P1062 AND IN LIMP MODE Popped out this afternoon and when i started her up to do.e home the EML light came up and I had to limp home on reduced power. When I put the code reader on it I got the P1050 and P1062 codes. Looking it up these seem to be vanos related so I cleaned the connectors to the cam sensor and the vanos solenoids and cleared the codes.Z4-FORUM.COM

The tyre sizes appear to remain the same, so is there a difference in handling or is it purely cosmetic? BMW Z4 E85 RELAY LOCATIONS AND DIAGRAM I'm trying to find the Relay Locations and Diagram for a 2003 BMW z4 e85, but cannot find anything online. Thanks in advanced ENGINE SWAPS ON E85'S @ maniac, mostly the N54 is almost the same as the M54, so not much toch change, i under stand that a v8 of v10 conversion would cost a lott more, but the N54B30 is a changed M54B30 ( even jeremy clarkson know's that ) and as you know the M54B30 is the engine of the pre facelift Z4. @ tomscott, as i go to the dutch autorithy, and they apporve the car, i don't see any problem in insuring it, BOOT RELEASE AND OTHER USEFULL KEY OPTIONS Very strange. For my car it is the following: Door lock First Press - Open Drivers Door Door lock Second Press - Open Passenger Door Trunk button press (does not need to be held down) - Open Boot (can be donewith doors locked)

RADIATOR FAN PROBLEM i tried it with AC off, same symptoms. when the AC is on, the fan is on continuously drawing air through the AC condenser/radiator. now as far as i know, there is a coolant temp sensor on the lower radiator hose and another coolant temp sensor on the thermostat. i think my thermostat works perfectly fine because i'm not getting any symptoms of the sticky or "stuck" thermostat. my car warms P1050 & P1062 AND IN LIMP MODE Well the EML light came on again tonight and when I checked the codes it was the same P1050 and P1062 codes I got last time. So I cleaned the connections and cleared the codes but the EML light came back on after idling for a few secondsFAULT CODES
My air bag light has illuminated, so I took it to my BMW shop. He hooked up the scanner and got a fault code ..it reset and has now comeon again.
