ZTC-200 TEMPERATURE CONTROL Z-Temp™ ZTC-200 kit features: Extrusion temperature is adjustable "on-the-fly" during printing. No need to re-slice just to change extrusion temperature. Some PLA prints best at 200º, for example, while another might print better at 210º. Z-Temp eliminates the need to create a new z-code file for every variation.

TIPS FOR USE

ZT-HE HOT END MAINTENANCE ZT-HE Hot End Maintenance. The ZT-HE is shipped fully assembled and ready to install, but eventually you may need or want to change the nozzle or PTFE tube - here's how. The ZT-HE is compatible with industry-standard "MK8" nozzles. We can't say we've tried every brand on the market, but we've tried a few and they've all worked fine. Z-SENSE INSTALLATION AND USE Z-Sense Installation. Turn the printer on, and using the Maintenance menu, move the bed up to allow access to the underside of the Z plate. ZT-HE HOT END FAQ

Extended use of the ZT-HE at extrusion temperatures over 240ºC will reduce the life of its internal PTFE tube. If you want to be conservative, stick to PLA and "generic" 235-240º ABS in the ZT-HE. If you're more adventurous or can't be bothered changing hot ends, go ahead and print PC, UltraT, and Z-ABS with it.

RaftAway is a free Java application for processing z-code files. With this easy-to-use utility, you can eliminate the raft for true raft-less printing. In addition, the program allows you to. add retraction to reduce “stringing”. increase first-layer extrusion for improved print adhesion when printing raftless.

Z-MON SUPPORT PAGE

This snap-on vertical ribbon cable support for Z-Temp is highly recommended if you’re clipping your Z-Mon to the ribbon cable: Use 110-120mm of PTFE guide tube between Z-Mon and the printer to add stability and support for the monitor. Without this tube, the monitor may open during printing.

Yes, the Z-Temp can shift the nominal slicing temp up by as much as 60ºC and down as much as 90ºC (or 140º if the "low temperature" range is selected). Although Zortrax specifies that the hot end is rated to 385ºC, testing indicates that the M200® may not be able to exceed 320ºC with current firmware. What settings should i use for
