LITTLE WILD HORSE CANYON Distance – 4.5 to 8.2 miles, depends on how much of the loop hike you desire to do. Approximate hiking time – 6 hours for the loop, 2 to 3 hours for just Little Wild Horse. Elevation at Trailhead – 4940 feet. Difficulty – Easy. Trail – Wash route, sand, jeep trail between Little Wild Horse and Bell Canyons. Amount of waterrecommended
HORSESHOE BEND
Horseshoe Bend. Distance – 1.25 miles roundtrip. Approximate hiking time – 30 minutes to an hour. Elevation at Trailhead – 4327 feet. Elevation highpoint on Trail – 4373 feet. Elevation at Overlook – 4214 feet. Difficulty – Easy, however there are steep HEAT EXHAUSTION AND HEAT STROKE Heat stroke is much more dangerous than heat exhaustion, and requires swift action, because the body’s core temperature has reach a life threathening 105 degrees Farenheit (40.5 degrees Celsius) or higher. The main symptoms to look for with heat stroke are: – increased heart rate/rapid pulse. – dehydration. – hot, sweaty, red skin.ANTELOPE CANYON
Antelope Canyon. It is the most photographed slot canyon in world, and for good reason. You probably saw pictures of it before you even knew the name of the place, or where itWAHWEAP HOODOOS
Elevation at Wahweap Hoodoos – 4266 feet. Difficulty – Easy. Route finding ability – Moderate. Trail – Sand, dry wash, Wahweap Creek is occasionally a wet wash, no shade in the wash. Amount of water recommended – 3+ liters. Bathrooms – None. Season to hike – March to November is the best time to hike Wahweap. Can be hot in thesummer.
HIDDEN FALLS
Hidden Falls located up Big Cottonwood Canyon, is a very short hike to a beautiful fall and passes a fenced off old mine along the way. Since it’s just a two minute walk from Big Cottonwood Canyon Road and the parking area, there’s no reason not to make a quick stop here on your way to any other destination up the canyon!MOUNT TIMPANOGOS
Mount Timpanogos Hike Details. Distance – 14.8 miles roundtrip from Timpooneke trailhead, 13.6 miles roundtrip from Aspen Grove trailhead. Approximate hiking time – 8 to 10 hours. Elevation at the trailhead – 7360 feet at Timpooneke, 6889 feet at Aspen Grove trailhead. Elevation at Mount Timpanogos summit – 11,749 feet. COYOTE GULCH HIKE DIRECTIONS Distance – 17.0 miles roundtrip. Approximate hiking time – 8-10 hours, or you can choose to spend the night down in the Gulch. Elevation at Trailhead – 4770 feet. Elevation in Coyote Gulch at Jacob Hamblin Arch – 3995 feet. Elevation at the confluence of Coyote Gulch and the Escalante River –WHITE POCKET

Red Breaks – Big West Fork Hike Details. Distance – 15 miles roundtrip, completed as a loop hike. Approximate hiking time – 8 to 10 hours, depending on how far in the slot you go.
