The Healing Benefits of Reiki. I began studying Reiki and energy healing well over ten years ago. At first, I was really skeptical. I just didn’t see how someone placing their hands on me would have ANY healing benefits, much less MANY healing benefits. But I have always been open-minded and willing to try new things. INTERVIEWS | YOGAHUB OM Beverly Driver is a certified acupuncturist, Pilates and Gigong practitioner who is also a breast cancer survivor. Recently, Beverly had a chat with YogaHub about how she dealt with her diagnosis and what she learned about herself in the process. When Beverly was 36 years old, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent abiopsy.

My name is Christina Souza Ma and as the founder of Yogahub, I would like to share my yoga journey with you. I started off having many misconceptions about the practice of yoga. EXCITEMENT AND EXHAUSTION Meanwhile, apart from preparing all those materials, there have been other things that I need to take care of, such as meeting with the directors of the film, reading the first draft of scripts with my fellow actors for possible film productions, baby-sitting as a part-time job, memorizing a monologue for the improvisation class that I have been taking, and rehearsing every weekend for a play OVERCOMING THE FEAR OF THE NETI POT There wasn’t a single moment that the fear left me. I read the instructions over and over. I practiced holding the pot and experimented with various angles. Then, finally, having run out of excuses, I gathered my courage and added 1/8 teaspoon of sea salt, although the instructions actually say to use ¼ teaspoon of non-iodized salt as sea INCENTIVES TO KEEP UP YOUR YOGA At a time when more mom-and-pop stores of all types are closing because people are spending less money, businesses that are stayingafloat are

YOGA FOR THE DEVELOPMENTALLY CHALLENGED Yoga can restore a feeling of control by focusing on and executing simple physical postures. By moving through the poses of a yoga routine, the mentally challenged can exercise some amount of will. Calmly and deliberately executing each stretch can restore a comfortable sense of control, thereby empowering oneself and boostingconfidence.

I began studying Reiki and energy healing well over ten years ago. At first, I was really skeptical. I just didn’t see how someone placing their hands on me would have ANY healing benefits, much less MANYhealing benefits.

My name is Christina Souza Ma and as the founder of Yogahub, I would like to share my yoga journey with you. I started off having many misconceptions about the practice of yoga. OVERCOMING THE FEAR OF THE NETI POT Believe me, even with all the meditating I’ve done in my life, it took every ounce of my courage, plus a lot more meditation and breath work, to make that very first attempt to pour water up my nose.I constantly had to tell myself that I had full control of the situation(didn’t I?),

More time, though, is not necessarily the answer. Each of us, after all, has the same 24 hours in a day. WILL THE NETI POT HELP OR HURT? Okay, so this is going to sound like yet another excuse not to start using my Neti Pot.. But it’s not. I’m not procrastinating this time – honestly. Let me explain. For the last few years I’ve had eye problems, and last week I went for my regular eye appointment with the glaucoma specialist. YOGA ON A CRUISE SHIP Yes, I did it.
