Before registering a domain name that includes the text “Yocto Project”, you must request permission by emailing trademarks@yoctoproject.org per the Linux Foundation TrademarkGuidelines.
BITBAKE USER MANUAL
Today, BitBake is the primary basis of the OpenEmbedded project, which is being used to build and maintain Linux distributions such as the Angstrom Distribution and which is used as the build tool for Linux projects such as the Yocto Project. Prior to BitBake, no other build tool adequately met the needs of an aspiring embedded Linuxdistribution.

LEARN – YOCTO PROJECT The Yocto Project community delivers a day of training twice a year: at the Embedded Linux Conference in North America as well as in the fall at the Embedded Linux Conference in Europe.
