L'incident se serait produit en début d'après-midi, ce 19 février à la hauteur de La Prairie, près de la sortie de la rue Salaberry. Des automobiles, mais aussi des poids lourds et un autobus scolaire semblent impliqués. La circulation est présentement bloquée dans les deux directions afin de permettre aux autorités et aux urgences de faire leur travail, indique la Sûreté du Québecà Narcity.
Plusieurs intervenants, dont de nombreux policiers, des ambulanciers et des pompiers sont déjà sur place.
