JAKARTA: Xiaomi siap merilis _smartphone _terbaru seri kesembilan dari Redmi Note. India bakal menjadi negara pertama yang bisa memiliki

_smartphone _ini.

Kabar ini dikonfirmasi langsung oleh akun Twitter Redmi India (@RedmiIndia). Mereka mencuitkan poster yang menampilkan angka sembilan dengan desain empat buah lensa kamera di bagian tengah. Poster ini menegaskan bahwa Redmi Note 9 akan menjagokan kameranya. Redmi India menyatakan bahwa Redmi Note 9 akan hadir pada 12 Maret 2020 dan diklaim sebagai peluncuran produk Redmi terbesar di tahun ini. Sayangnya mereka tidak mau memberikan detil mengenai ilustrasi dari poster tersebut. Dikutip dari _Android Authority_, diduga desain empat kamera di angka sembilan tersebut merupakan desain empat kamera belakang. Namun, teori lain yang beredar adalah desain tersebut menggambarkan fitur kamera ganda di bagian depan. Teori yang berkembang memaknai desain di poster tersebut sebagai fitur dua kamera depan di Redmi Note 9 yang mengusung konsep _punch-hole_. Artinya, desain tersebut mungkin mirip kamera depan ganda di Samsung

Galaxy S10 Plus.

Sejauh ini Redmi sangat menyimpan rapat informasi spesifikasi Redmi Note 9. Meskipun begitu kuat dugaan bahwa smartphone ini juga akana memiliki saudara versi Pro yaitu Redmi Note 9 Pro. Sebelumnya Xiaomi merilis laporan terbaru terkait kesuksesan merek Redmi di dunia pada tahu 2019. Mereka melampirkan data dari firma riset pasar Canalys terkait smartphone terpopuler di dunia tahun lalu dan kuartal empat tahun 2019 (Q4 2019). Redmi Note 7 menjadi smartphone terlaris di global tahun 2019 pada posisi ke enam.
