Winter weather has led to closures and cancellations in the Halifaxarea on Wednesday.
SCHOOLS:
All HRCE schools are closed for the day.
Offices opened at 10 a.m. Schools are also closed in the South Shore, Annapolis Valley, Chignecto-Central, Cape Breton-Victoria and Strait regional centresfor education.
Metro CSAP schools have cancelled classes for the day. NSCC metro campuses are closed for the day. Halifax Christian Academy's Armdale campus is closed today.TRANSPORTATION:
There are some delayed flights at Halifax Stanfield InternationalAirport.
SERVICES:
Nova Scotia Legal Aid's Halifax South office on Spring Garden will be closed until at least 11 a.m.RECREATION:
Many HRM Recreation Centres had a delaying opening today and should be open by now, but it's probably a good idea to check with your local facility for more information. Due to HRCE closures today, YPHD before and after school programs & Forever Fit classes have been cancelled. All other YMCA programs and centres remain open at this time. All YWCA HALIFAX locations, including YWCA Early Learning and Childcare Centre are closed today due to current weather conditions.BUSINESSES:
