Defender Raul Silva (who we’ve already discussed is atrocious) quite clearly handles the ball inside the area and referee Andreas Ekberg immediately points towards the spot. This is just so difficult to call - chances at both ends just keep coming. 17: Well… I was looking forward to seeing Francisco Trincao this evening and he’s not disappointed. The 20-year-old, who has been compared with Cristiano Ronaldo, has signed for Barcelona in a �28million deal. He’s also got a £500m buyout clause in his contract at the Nou Camp. 8: Slip from George Edmundson nearly results in disaster from the hosts but James Tavernier clears the danger by hoofing it behind for a corner. Bruno Viana loops it back into the six-yard box but there’s a foul on Allan McGregor. Not quite the start young Edmundson would

have hoped for.

5: Well I won’t lie to you folks, this has been a nervous start from Rangers. Constantly giving the ball away to the hosts, who are a touch buzzed themselves. And by that I mean they look sloppy too. 3: Well aside from a bizarre ground, Braga also boast one of the most annoying stadium announcers. He quite literally didn’t stop shouting since about 4.30pm. Plenty of empty seats dotted about and that’s mainly due to the early kick-off time. I would expect it to fill up

Anyway, Rangers nearly concede inside 60 seconds when the ball is gifted to Joao Palhinha just outside the penalty area, but the Braga midfielder couldn’t pick the right pass.
