Sport Football Hearts LIVEHEARTS 1 – 0 RANGERS RECAP: BOZANIC THE HERO AS DANIEL STENDEL LEADS SIDE TO SCOTTISH CUP SEMI-FINAL WITH DOMINANT DISPLAY ALL THE ACTION, REACTION AND ANALYSIS FROM EH11 THROUGHOUT THE DAYBy Joel Sked
Saturday, 29th February 2020, 7:48 pm Hearts take a somewhat welcome break from league action to face Rangers at Tynecastle Park with a place in the last four of the Scottish Cup at stake. Rivals Hibs are already in Sunday’s draw with the Jam Tarts looking for a repeat of their last league win which arrived last month over the Ibrox side in Gorgie. With the team bottom of the Ladbrokes Premiership and a number of crucial fixtures on the horizon, including a derby at Easter Road, Daniel Stendel is desperate for his side to discover “POSITIVETHOUGHTS”
with a strong showing and result. Hearts have not played since the 2-2 draw with Hamilton two weeks ago due to the postponement at St Mirren. It has, however, allowed Liam Boyce to regain full fitness. Opponents Rangers have played four times in the same period, the latest on Wednesday in the Europa League. There is a few surprise starters for Hearts. All the

BARRY ANDERSON'S ANALYSIS33 minutes ago
JOEL SKED'S ANALYSIS What can you say about that? Incredible and quite hard to believestuff.
A Hearts team who have struggled against Hamilton, Ross County, St Johnstone et al, just dominated a Rangers side in the last-16 of theEuropa League.
After a slow start which also saw Souttar leave the pitch, confirmed as a snapped Achilles, Hearts got a foothold in the match and largely dominated from then until the full-time whistle. There were plenty of raised eyebrows regarding the line-up, but players such as Lewis Moore and Loic Damour rose to the occasion. As for Oliver Bozanic, a stupendous performance. Won his battles in midfield, he seemed to be everywhere, and thoroughly deserved hiswinning goal.
Then there was Clevid Dikamona. A colossus. He always seemed to be in the right place at the right time, stepping in, getting his body in front, making crucial interceptions. This was the style of football Daniel Stendel wants. Hearts made it so difficult for Rangers to play out from the back. Steven Gerrard's men looked so nervous when pressed. This should - SHOULD - act as a catalyst now. Hearts HAVE to take this performance and attitude into the derby. A word on Steven McLean: Rubbish.59 minutes ago
