Welcome to the Worms Knowledge Base!. This knowledge base is an attempt to gather and organise information about the Worms series of games developed by Team17.Specifically, we focus on the 2D games up to the second generation.That is, all the games from the original Worms up to Worms World Party.. WORMKIT - WORMS KNOWLEDGE BASE WormKit. WormKit was an extension framework for Worms Armageddon. The distribution contained a module loader (whose only purpose is to load WormKit modules), and a set of default modules, each providing specific functionality. By convention, a WormKit module is a DLL file, the filename of which begins with the prefix "wk".HOSTINGBUDDY

FrontendKitWS is a WormKitDS-like module loader specifically made for changing the Worms 2 frontend as opposed to in-game logic.. It is required for patching the frontend as it does not load the WormKitDS dsound.dll library, which is why FrontendKitWS consists of wsock32.dll, a library only loaded by the frontend, giving it the "WS" suffix.This also prevents issues with WormKitDS modules MAD COWS - WORMS KNOWLEDGE BASE Mad Cows. Mad cows are a herded weapon. This means that the number of mad cows fired can be set by pressing a number key from 1 to 5. Once the desired number of cows in the herd is set, pressing space will activate the firing of the cows. EDITORS - WORMS KNOWLEDGE BASE The Simple editors would essentially be the same as those in Worms Armageddon - designed to give the player the ability to whip up a scheme in a few moments. The Advanced editor on the other hand would contain everything, and players would be expected to spend perhaps dozens of minutes fiddling and honing their scheme to perfection.
