I was told that the date is coded into the serial number. In my case, the serial number is 8170.P0211. The prefix 8170 defines the date. IE: 8 BANDSAW TIRES COMING OFF Assuming all adjustments are within reason, and I think they are, the solution seems to be replacing the tires with urethane. With what I know now, this seems a likely solution. The tires on my bandsaw simply slide back on with very little effort. WOODCENTRAL ARTICLES & REVIEWS Excalibur Sliding Table Review. Mine's the 49" model that with the fence at the front will cross-cut a 4x8 panel. Capacity with the fence at the rear is 40". The good: the fence is a well-designed very strong aluminum extrusion with lots of T-slots for jigs, and contains a slide-out extension stop for repeat cuts up to - I think - 8' inlength.
COCKBEADING A DRAWER A cockbead, or cockbeading, is a thin, beaded lip molding that is applied to traditional period drawer fronts primarily to protect the edges of the decorative face veneer. The heats are descending and the third is just flattening on the anvil to lessen grinding.
