WOMEN IN SPORT REVEALS THE IMPACT OF THE PANDEMIC ON The charity Women in Sport today launches new research, funded by Comic Relief, into how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the lives of teenage girls and their relationship with sport and physical activity. The research showed that lockdown has led girls to recognise the value of exercise for physical and mental health – 52% MENOPAUSE - WOMEN IN SPORT Menopause. Women in Sport is focusing on menopause as one of its key strategic aims over the next two years. We want to harness the opportunity that menopause offers to encourage women to take physical activity into the next stage of their lives. Around 8 in 10 women experience menopause symptoms and they last an average of four years.SEXISM IN SPORT
