Some people see it as romantic interest, some jealousy, others reluctant friendship, etc. In the original draft, Todoroki went to Bakugou because she was the only one who figured out that Bakugou and Kirishima were dating. I ended up scrapping that idea for a few reasons, but the biggest one was due to reading so many different comments on how Bakugou was reacting and what the audience took out of it. I was getting a lot of hate at the time with the main pairing so I decided to leave Bakugou’s relationship or lack-there-of vague to appease to as many people as possible and save my own sanity. So yeah. If you want to see it as Bakugou having a crush, go for it. If not, that’s totally fine too. Whatever makes you happy.
