What this is about Back in November 2018, there was a mandatory patcher update for Mario Kart Wii, where we released new patchers for Mario Kart Wii that fixed a couple security issues in the game, and added an auto-update feature that allows us to add future features and fixes to the game easily.

Leseratte was already involved in the mkw-ana development and helped in many ways to develop Wiimmfi. The NINTENDO WI-FI CONNECTION (WFC) service was an online gaming service that provided free online play in various Nintendo DS and Wii games. Nintendo discontinued the service on May 20th, 2014, primarily because the host of the service, GameSpy , was shutting down its servers. Nintendo WFC was required for online play, but the WIIMMFI PROJECT has replicated much of its functionality and allows for continued online play in Mario Kart Wii and other games. NEW SERVER

During the second week of November 2019 (11th to 17th), Wiimmfi and Wii-Homebrew.com will be moved to a new server. The actual switch to the new server (with a few hours of downtime) will most likely happen between NOVEMBER 14TH AND 16TH. It is recommended not to schedule any tournaments during that time as you might get kicked without notice.

The owner of the region gets a system message as warning. 31 days after the warning message, the owner loses the control of the region, gets a second message and the region is disabled. SUNDAY, MARCH 18TH, 2018 * Custom Regions: Until August 2017, users reservered custom regions by the Custom Track Wiiki . Until today, these regions were reserved at Wiimmfi too and Wiiki users had an chance for re-applying then regions. Now most of these regions are
