Stir fry until onion has separated and starts to caramelise. Add mushrooms and stir fry for another couple of minutes. Add garlic and ginger. Frozen slices can also be toasted. FRENCH WOMEN'S MAGICAL LEEK SOUP Instructions. Slice leek and mushrooms. Finely dice carrot. Trim and chop beans. Heat butter or spread in a large saucepan, add leek and cook until translucent. Add mushrooms, carrot and berans stir fry for a minute. Cover with stock and cook for 20 minutes on a medium simmer. Serve with a slice of sourdough or crusty baguette (feel free to MOUTHWATERING OVEN-BRAISED PORK SCOTCH FILLETS WITH WINTER Mouthwatering oven-braised pork scotch fillets with winter vegetables. Preheat oven to 180C (350F, gas mark 4). Peel and slice carrots, halve Brussels sprouts and potatoes, quarter onions. Boil potatoes for 20 minutes, drain and set aside to cool.
