VEGAN COMFORT FOOD RECIPES Hi, I’m Marlena the recipe creator behind Where You Get Your Protein!I love spending time in the kitchen cookin’ up delicious vegan comfort foods! Most of the ingredients I use are easy-to-find or

a pantry staple.

SOAKING CASHEWS 3 WAYS Hot Water Method. Bring 3-4 cups of water to a boil. Once the water is boiling, turn off the, add in the cashews, and cover the pot. Soak the cashews in the hot water for 30 minutes to an hour. Drain and thoroughly rinse the cashews. SHEET PAN PANCAKES (VEGAN) Pancake toppings for breakfast or dessert. Sheet pan pancakes can be served for breakfast, brunch, or even dessert. Top your morning stack of pancakes with fresh fruit such as blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, or bananas.. For a decadent breakfast/brunch add coconut whip, chopped nuts, peanut butter, or chocolate chips and finish it off with a generous drizzle of maple syrup. BBQ BLACK BEAN BURGERS (NO CRUMBLE) Set aside 1/4 cup of the black beans. Mash the rest of the beans in a large mixing bowl. Once the beans are mashed add the remaining ingredients to your bowl and mix. Finish mixing the ingredients with your hands until it comes together. Once well INSTANT POT RICE PILAF (INCLUDES STOVETOP INSTRUCTIONS Instant-Pot Instructions. Add the oil, rice and orzo to the IP. Sauté until the rice and orzo begin to brown, about 8 minutes. Once browned press cancel on your IP and mix in the remaining ingredients. Set the IP to pressure cook for 8 minutes on high pressure. Then allow for INSTANT POT VEGETABLE SOUP (VEGAN) Instant Pot Vegetable Soup is a classic homestyle recipe made with simple ingredients. It’s super easy to bring together making it an ideal weeknight dinner. This healthy & flavorful chunky vegetable soup is vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and allergy friendly! CAULIFLOWER LEEK SOUP (VEGAN) An easy one-pot soup. Talking about one-pot meals, this cauliflower leek soup is a chop and toss soup (toss in the pot that is). Mash the rest of the beans in a large mixing bowl. Once the beans are mashed add the remaining ingredients to your bowl and mix. Finish mixing the ingredients with your hands until it comes together. Once well VEGAN SNOWBALL COOKIES Instructions. Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Mix the chia egg and set aside. In a large bowl, cream together the coconut oil and sugar. Mix in the salt, vanilla extract, and chia egg. With the side of a stiff spatula cut in 1 cup of flour. You can also use a pastry cutter or hand mixer for this step.
