The deadline to renew your business licence is January 31. To operate a business in West Vancouver, you need a business licence. This also applies to trades—such as builders, plumbers, electricians, and landscape gardeners—coming into the community to perform work. SENIORS' ACTIVITY CENTRE Feed the need. The West Vancouver Seniors’ Activity Centre (SAC) has received a matching grant from the West Vancouver Foundation. The Ian and Rosemary Mottershead Fund will match all donations up to $100,000 to the Food Security Program for vulnerable seniors.GARBAGE COLLECTION
An extra garbage tag is required to remove more than 154 L on collection day. Tags are $6 for each extra 77 L bag or can, and never expires. Effective Wednesday, April 8, Municipal Hall will be closed to the public as part of the District's measures to prevent the spreadof COVID-19.

MARINE DRIVE AND TAYLOR WAY INTERSECTION * Expect delays at the intersection of Marine Drive and Taylor Way on November 20, 23, 24, and 25 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. due to overnight work for BC Hydro. * Expect delays southbound on Taylor Way south of Marine Drive on November 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 25TH STREET BETWEEN HAYWOOD AVENUE AND MATHERS AVENUE * Expect single-lane alternating traffic from Thursday, November 19 to Saturday, November 21 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. due to roadpaving.
ARGYLE AVENUE BETWEEN 14TH STREET AND 15TH STREET * Road closed to vehicles from Monday, November 23 to Wednesday, November 25 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. due to Fortis work. Traffic control personnel will be on site to assist residents of Argyle Avenue, pedestrians, and cyclists. TEMPORARY PATIO PILOT PROGRAM - MARINE DRIVE, BETWEEN 24TH STREET AND25TH STREET

The existing parking lane will be converted to patio space with the installation of protective barriers; the existing “slow” lane will be converted to parallel parking; and the existing left lane will be maintained as a through lane for vehicles. Details.
UPPER BELLEVUE AVENUE, 25TH STREET TO 26TH STREET*
Road will be closed to local traffic only beginning Monday, November 16, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, for approximately five to six weeks due to retaining wall construction and slopestabilization work.
* Construction signage and traffic control personnel will be on site to assist with traffic flow.
