For a relaxing, scenic walk along the coastline away from the crowds in Haeundae, visit Igidae Park. Along the coastal walk you have views of Haeundae Beach across the water, Gwangali Bridge, and the city’s skyscrapers. Amerika-mura (literally, American Village) started out in the 1970s as a place where people sold imported goods from America. These days, it’s a bustling area full of street art, vintage clothing stores and trendy bars and restaurants. It even has it’s own mini Statue of Liberty! 5 REASONS TO VISIT NAMI ISLAND When Veeran and I went on a day trip to Gapyeong last month, Nami Island was the highlight of the day.Originally we were a little bit apprehensive about visiting since Nami Island is extremely famous for being the filming location of the popular K-Drama, Winter Sonata. CAPE TOWN ITINERARY: THE BEST THINGS TO DO IN 4 DAYS It won’t get you quite as far as the Cape of Good Hope, but you can still check out the penguins at Boulder’s Beach and the colourful huts at Muizenberg. From here we flagged a taxi to take us to the bus terminal for 15,000 KRW. While 15,000 KRW is expensive for budget travellers, we were happy to spend it at the end of our weekendaway.
