There are two basic uses for tables on the web: data tables and layout tables. The original intended use of HTML tables was for tabular data.A table is a data table when row headers, column headers, or both are present. WEBAIM: CREATING ACCESSIBLE FRAMES AND IFRAMES Provide frame titles. When a screen reader user hears a list of frames, it is helpful to know the purpose of each one. Frame titles allow web developers to communicate the purpose of each frame to usersof screen readers.

It is often easier to repair these tags using the Reading Order tool outlined below, but there are some actions that can only be accomplished in the Tags panel.. When images are used as links, the alternative text performs the function of link text. As with linked text, the alt text of linked images does not need to inform users that the link is a link, since this is already presented.
