HEY! I'M YVETTE.
I’m so glad you’re here! I’m from New Zealand, but I now callScotland home.
Three years ago I found myself unexpectedly single and exhausted from running a business, so I sold all my stuff and moved across the globe. During the last 3 years I’ve been on some wild adventures; I’ve lived in a van in the Canadian Rockies, worked in the mountains at a ski resort, hiked the Stairway to Heaven, and in 2018 I hiked the length of Scotland solo. Wayfaring Kiwi is an outdoor adventure blog where I document my travels in Scotland and beyond. Whether it’s hiking, snowboarding or horse riding- I love being outdoors and going on adventures. I also love inspiring people to go on adventures, so you will find plenty of helpful travel advice here. I now live in the most beautiful city in the world- Edinburgh!
