Iceland is home to many adorable little critters, and you can get to meet them with our tours! 1. PUFFIN TOUR . As I mentioned before, May is one of the best months to visit Iceland if you are looking for puffins. BEST WAY TO SEE NORTHERN LIGHTS IN ICELAND 2021 It is possible to see the northern lights from Reykjavik. But it is uncommon due to the light pollution of the city lights. However, if you're in Reykjavik while there is high northern lights activity and clear skies. Then your best to see the northern lights in Reykjavik is by the 'Grótta lighthouse.'. Which is only a short 3-4 minute driver 9 MUST VISIT NATURAL HOT SPRINGS & GEOTHERMAL POOLS IN ICELAND MYVATN HOT SPRING ICELAND. Mývatn Nature baths is a super incredible & cozy geothermal hot spring, located in the far North of Iceland. One of my favourite things about Lake Mývatn is its incredible landscape scenery that surrounds it. The water has a perfect temperature of about 36 – 40°C and contains a lot of minerals! BEST NORTHERN LIGHTS TOUR IN ICELAND If you've made your way all the way to Iceland - then I believe it's a MUST for you to experience the magical Northern Lights. But finding the Northern Lights can be tricky, which is why I recommend all travelers and friends on their way to Iceland to book this tour. THE FAMOUS ICELANDIC HOT DOG The Bæjarins beztu hot dog stand is located on Tryggvagata 1, 101 Reykjavík. They open at 10:00am but close at 1:00am. Which is only a short 3-4 minute driver VISITING ICELAND IN MAY One of the best parts of the Icelandic nature, in my opinion, is the wildlife.
