ISNIFFER – 433MHZ ARDUINO SNIFFER – WABBIT WAVINGS While the Arduino is truly a great tinkertoy, it also allows you to build some pretty handy test gear. I work a fair bit with those 433MhzRF remotes.
GIBSON ROBOT GUITAR BATTERY REPLACEMENT A few years ago, a local music store was blowing out the Gibson SG Robot Guitar. The robot part being the part that allows the guitar totune itself.
ARDUINO HC-11 RF 433MHZ A few months back I’d ordered some RF modules for a project and after working with them a while, I’ve found they work fairly well. So well in fact that I ordered some more.I BUILT A KOSSEL
Yes. That’s right. I built a Kossel. For anyone that knows me, this news will not come as any surprise since they know I built one in June2015.
OCTOPRINT VS SD
I’ll be the first to admit that being retired gives me way too much time to try out different things. Lately with the monsoon season upon us, golf is notably absent from my to do list, so I’ve been spending a fair bit (okay too much time) in the shop. 3D 12V 50 WATT CERAMIC HEATER CARTRIDGEV-AMP PRO FIRMWARE
I picked up a Behringer Vamp Pro and found the firmware was a few years out of date. A quick email to Behringer had the most recent firmware on its way to me. THE FABULOUS BLUE WABBITS Welcome to The Fabulous Blue Wabbits wascawy website!. Forty-five years after the original Blue Diamond instrument group made their appearance on the Club 6 television program, the two remaining band members, Mel P (guitars) and Fred L (bass guitar), reformed as The Fabulous Blue Wabbits. The band writes and records in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.WABBIT WAVINGS

My main Kossel printer has slightly less than 2,000 hours on it but the RAMPS 1.4 board on it gave off a very familiar odor the other day so I shut it down until I could get to it. BLUETOOTH HC-05 MAC PROGRAMMER APP After spending time writing a sketch for the Arduino so I could program the HC-05 Bluetooth modules, I had a mind tweak that the same should be able to be done with the Mac here. UNDER THE MICROSCOPE I’d read that the 5mp cameras with a 50-500x magnification and controllable LED lighting are the best way to view your stuff, so, I ordered a USB microscope: Of course when it showed up, the first of note was the total lack of Mac support. There was a MINI CDROM for Windows though and I did manage to install that in VMWare Fusion underWinXP

Especially the 5 Hrs 12 Mins with 60mm/s speed. I found their entry on Thingiverse and noticed that although the video said 20% infill and 60mm/s, the text said 18% infill and 70mm/s. That’s the number of hours on my current RAMPS 1.4 board. The one before that had the MOSFET for the bed melting through the terminal block. Mostly because the MOSFET’s that are installed aren’t logic MOSFET’s so they never turn on completely. 3D BENCHY – NETFABB – PRINTER TORTURE TEST – WABBIT WAVINGS Layer height: 0.2 mm. Infill: 10%. Print speed (extrusion): up to 50 mm/s. Print speed (travel): up to 150 mm/s. Print nozzle diameter: 0.4 mm. The Benchy web site gives you the dimensions that your finished print should be. Pull out your digital micrometer and prepare to drive yourself nuts. If you’re so inclined. WIFI 3D PRINTING W/RAMPS Post Views: 1,185. Lots of users want 3D printing to be wireless but the choices have been fairly restrictive, and perhaps moderately expensive. Depending on what your definition of expensive is. Considering the amount spent on filaments, currently Wifi connectivity with any printer using Marlin or Repetier is about the price of threeor four

More compact. Note the Mean Well doesn’t have the little protective flip REVEREND CLUB KING 290 Reverend Club King 290. Standard 25.5″ scale, bolt on neck, 12″ radius, P-90 pups, and simple controls. There were two colours available. A black one, and one that looked like a orange traffic cone. I grabbed the orange one first and heard from the store front, “Try the other one.”. Being one to A/B things, I plugged in theorange one

The heated bed MOSFET. Apparently it overheated, was laying against the terminal block and started to melt its way through, which then shorted out the terminals andas they say, the smoke leaked out. End of life for short. According to the specs for this particular MOSFET, it’s “supposed” to dissipate 110 watts at 25C. RIGOL DS1052E UPGRADE The fan, well, there’s the hard part. The factory mounted fan is a “GLOFN GFA06015H12H”. That is a 60x60mm running at 5500rpm @12V DC. According to the manufacturers website it has an air flow of 34.2m3/h at 36.5dBA of annoying noise. Yes. That’s right. I built a Kossel. For anyone that knows me, this news will not come as any surprise since they know I built one in June2015.
V-AMP PRO FIRMWARE
I picked up a Behringer Vamp Pro and found the firmware was a few years out of date. A quick email to Behringer had the most recent firmware on its way to me.OCTOPRINT VS SD
In the middle (these are the front views of the prints), there is exactly one “pimple”. And that’s it. For all I know the SD card had a bit of a read problem at that one point. Other Differences. For whatever reason, on the Octoprint print output there is a rather large seam right up the back. RAMPS 1.4 POWER CONNECTORS That’s how many hours are on my printer. Anyone who owns a delta with a bowden tube knows that retraction is extremely important. The process I was provided gave a 1mm retraction at 30 mm/s. Bowdens want 3-5mm of retraction and 60-80mm/s. Extrusion is set at .9 by default. WIFI 3D PRINTING W/RAMPS Post Views: 1,185. PRUSA I3 MK3S
Doing some searching for pros and cons, made the list shorter. Specifically Creality and PRUSA. One of the makers, who shall remain nameless (Howard), got a PRUSA i3 MK3S in March, built it and brought it over. We did a few prints from it and my deltas and I was super impressed with the quality of built, the parts and how quiet it was. ARDUINO HC-11 RF 433MHZ The “control” pin is pin 4. The sketch tells you which HC-11 pins goes to which Arduino pin. When the sketch starts up, it polls the HC-11 looking for a reply so it can use the baud rate: You can see the Mode, Baud, Channel, Address and transmit power. So now some notes ofwhat I’ve found.
GIBSON ROBOT GUITAR BATTERY REPLACEMENT When you find it on Gibson’s web store, you’ll also find that it says, “Out Of Stock”. The only remaining source is Tronical and that’s going to cost upwards of a $100 or possibly more with shipping from Germany. Tronical, bless them for this, listed the battery as 2.4V 2200maH. Sitting around today with a wicked sinus cold, the postie delivered some LED lights, GU10 and MR16’s that I’d ordered from FleaBay. I’d ordered some before but the market has changed slightly on these so it was time to try something new. THE FABULOUS BLUE WABBITS 1960’s Style Instrumental BandSITE NAVIGATION
