Most likely piston ring glands damage, custom problem to these motors, vw **** up somewhere as the 1.4's, 1.6's, 1.8's and 2.0l does them same, most of them on piston no3, even the 5 pot audi 2.5l motor got the same issue, Piston no1 and 3, itseems
POLO CUTS OUT WHILE DRIVING Hi Guys i have this problem with my Polo driving me up the wall'2006, 1.4tdi, 3Cylinder, Polo Classic i have changed the diesel and water thermo switches, all my filters including the diesel filter numerous times,but the car will cut out while i am driving at least twice aweek.
7 SPEED DSG GEARBOX ,REQUIRES OIL SERVICE OR NOT? The 7 speed DQ200 dsg gearbox can most definitely get an oil change! The gearbox comprises of two sections, one is for gears and shafts and the other is the mechatronics unit. The mechatronics unit is the black box that faces the front of the vehicle. The rest is gear box with clutch closet to the engine. OLD POLO CLASSIC 1.8I 1.8i - 82kw. All in all the 1.6i is the best out of the lot , nicely balanced. Most Polos are specced with aircon - extra , power steering is standard , electric windows ( front only ) and electric door mirrors came on the 1.8i only. This options were all available if the car was bought new though. CITI KEIHIN KS2 (GOLDWAGEN REPLACEMENT) SETUP Start by turning the air correction screw all the way in without thengine running, then turn it out 3 turns. Start the car and adjust the idle to 1000rpm, then turn the float in half a turn at a time. Test drive the car between each adjustment toake sure the carb is not running dry or not over fuelling. '87 Golf 1 Olde Skewl OEM+. NOISY HYDRAULIC LIFTERS Noisy Hydraulic Lifters - VW 8 valve. I have a 1990 VW Caddy 1.8 (HV). I had an oil leak from the rear main seal so I replaced all seals and gaskets with Victor Reinz Kit as well as I had the cylinder head reconditioned with the valves and valve guides and it was skimmed. POLO CLASSIC SENSOR PROBLEMS Polo Classic Sensor Problems. On start up it would idle abit rougher than normal like brup brup brup making the engine sway back and forth, but hot its fine we starting and idling. Then also wen starting wen cold it used to rev up to about 1500 to 1700 revs before steadilycuming down.

I have a 2010 Polo vivo 1.6 77kw, I have started experiencing an issue when the vehicle has come to a stop with engine idling (usually at a traffic light or stop street) the EPC fault light comes on. The engine idle becomes rough & increases to about 1200rpm, there is also no response to the accelerator pedal atthis time.

INNER CV JOINT BOLTS Most commonly people are supplied 8.8 tensile bolts that happen to be black. I have used and broken a number of those which is why I have become very particular about the type of bolts I use on the inner CV joints. The OEM bolts are 12.9 strength on the Citi and the Polo. Location: Benoni, putfontein. OLD POLO CLASSIC 1.8I 1.8i - 82kw. All in all the 1.6i is the best out of the lot , nicely balanced. DIY CRUISE CONTROL ON POLO 9N3 WITH PICTURES The brown connector coming from the bottom of the board XS3 controller with the name. The connector is coded it only fits into this one box. 8. Reassemble in reverse order. First screw the fuse holder, then secure the relay board and the network control unit, diagnostic connector screw cap and push the steering wheel. Another thing to check when you have an EPC light is to inspect the brake light bulb and all the contacts on the bulb circuit. My brake light bulb once melted an caused the 2 filaments to make contact with each other. When ever I stepped on the brake it caused the front park light and EPC light to come on intermittently. I actually just got off the phone with Ben from Superior Friction. He will be getting the yellow stuff in next week for my car. But his price is a bit high, R1800, then I have to fit it, or pay to get itfitted.

I actually just got off the phone with Ben from Superior Friction. He will be getting the yellow stuff in next week for my car. But his price is a bit high, R1800, then I have to fit it, or pay to get itfitted.
2012 POLO IGNITION SWITCH 2012 polo ignition switch. I have a 2012 polo with milleage 102500km, i dont know what the problem is but when i put the car key in, it turns the car on but the key wont turn all the way to start the engine. I first thought it was d key then i used my spare key which worked for a week now both keys are doing the same thing. 1.4TSI SOFT LIMP MODE P30C0-000 Solution:I dont like to leave threads hanging,so I will share,the car got worse and started hesitating between 1800-3000 rpm,ltft went up to 7.8-11 on most days.i changed coil packs and this made a slight difference at idle,the code came back after driving for a short while,the problem was eventually sorted by adding liqui moly injector cleaner to the tank,the code has not come back and the"WYNSS VALVE EASE"
valve ease is very good for your car if you use every now and then. when running race fuel, your fuel pump and injectors suffer from lack of lube and valve ease will help here. a touch of diesel in the tank only benefits the motor when you use it every 25000 kms . the diesel heats up the piston crown and help burn off the carbon that has built POLO CUTS OUT WHILE DRIVING Hi Guys i have this problem with my Polo driving me up the wall'2006, 1.4tdi, 3Cylinder, Polo Classic i have changed the diesel and water thermo switches, all my filters including the diesel filter numerous times,but the car will cut out while i am driving at least twice aweek.

VW POLO VIVO EPC PROBLEM VW Polo VIVO EPC problem. I have a 2010 Polo vivo 1.6 77kw, I have started experiencing an issue when the vehicle has come to a stop with engine idling (usually at a traffic light or stop street) the EPC fault light comes on. The engine idle becomes rough & increases to about 1200rpm, there is also no response to the accelerator pedal atthis time.

As those models pick up mileage, we're going to see them fail more and more. There is no preventative maintenance to do except replacing the timing chain tensioner with POLO CLASSIC SENSOR PROBLEMS Polo Classic Sensor Problems. 2013 GOLF 7 1.4 TSI CMB ENGINE TURBO 2013 Golf 7 1.4 TSI CMB engine TURBO. A few days ago my Golf's EPC and Catalytic converter lights went on. I took it to my local RMI Approved Automotive centre which in the past has done great work on my cars.
