He started working in this field in 1980, and received a Ph.D. in 1984 from TU Wien. He has written a German language textbook on computer graphics and co-edited several otherbooks.

Rebecca Nowak, Forscherin in unserer Multiple Senses-Gruppe, bringt mit ihrem Gruß aus dem Homeoffice einen Hauch Science Fiction (und Koffein) in diesen verregneten Freitagvormittag: „Ich bin in meinem Homeoffice mit meinen zwei Monitoren fast genauso gut ausgestattet wie im Büro – mit einem kleinen Bonus: Während ich arbeite, lässt im Hintergrund der Kaffeebaum die Bohnen nur so sprießen. Stichwort: Selbstversorgerin. Bis der Kaffee fertig ist, arbeite ich an der Erweiterung von PRo3D für das HERA-Projekt, also Asteroidenabwehr aus dem Homeoffice ;-) Konkret mache ich ein Kommandozeilen-Interface für PRo3D, mit dem man schnell viele Bilder für Simulationen rendern kann, als Nächstes kommen dann Beleuchtungsmodelle für PRo3D.“Show more…

Sprache funktioniert unter (fast) allen Umständen unverändert weiter.
