Today, visitors can wander through the old batteries following interpretive signs with detailed descriptions of the fort. Just beyond the fortifications is the Delaware River. Our commitment to providing our customers with the highest quality campground at affordable prices is what makes Sun Air Campground the obvious choice to meet your rest and relaxation needs. We offer the following camping amenities: 105 acres, nicely wooded, five-acre lake with sandy beach, heated showers, running water, RV hookups with water and SEA ISLE CITY TOURISM WELCOME CENTER Welcome to Sea Isle City! In the past few years, our town has undergone many exciting renovations that will enhance everyone's shore experience. Throughout the summer months, you'll discover an abundance of family entertainment. Our calendar of events includes many free attractions, such as weekly concerts, dance parties, family karaoke, outdoor movies and "Sea Isle City's Got Talent." HIGH POINT STATE PARK At 1,800 feet, the views from here of the Kittatinny Mountains are spectacular, but for a real bird’s-eye view, climb the more than 200 stairs to the top of High Point Monument.It’s even more impressive when cool fall weather paints the area with crimson, gold and plum-colored leaves.The park is also one of the most popular hiking spots in the state, with more than 50 miles of well-marked RED WING LAKES CAMPGROUND Campground: Outdoor family recreation six months a year. Set on 500 wooded acres for 40 years. Operated by the third generation Giberson Family. Full service family campground with more than 100 wooded sites set around five spring-fed lakes. All sites have 30 amp electric service, water and cable TV. Campground has newly remodeled tiled bathrooms and newly remodeled recreation hall with video BAYSHORE HERITAGE SCENIC BYWAY Winding along the southwestern coast of New Jersey, the Bayshore Heritage Scenic Byway stretches approximately 122 miles from the Delaware Bay in Mannington Township to Cape May at New Jersey’s southernmost tip. Along the way, discover a charming mix of historic sites, maritime attractions and breathtaking natural beauty. Here are a few stops to see along the way. CAPE MAY POINT STATE PARK Cape May Point State Park in Cape May Point, NJ. Although Cape May Lighthouse is a major attraction for many visitors to the area, the park's constantly changing shoreline, dunes, freshwater coastal marsh and ponds, forested islands and varied uplands make it a well-known location for viewing the fall bird migration. Located on the southern tip of New Jersey, Cape May Point State Park is a keyPARVIN STATE PARK
Hidden in the southwestern part of the state is Parvin State Park, a park whose history is as varied as its wildlife. Situated on the edge of the Pine Barrens, the park not only has pine forests typical to the area but also a swamp hardwood forest. Spring bursts out in bright colors and rich fragrances with blossoming dogwood, laurel, holly, magnolia, wild azalea and more than 200 kinds of CATTUS ISLAND COUNTY PARK Cooper Environmental Center features exhibits in natural surroundings, live animals, six miles of trails and a butterfly garden. The unspoiled beauty of nature is the main attraction at Cattus Island County Park. This environmentally sensitive park spans almost 500 acres and boasts miles of trails, many offering lovely vistas of the adjacent Silver Bay. Cattus Island is home to the Cooper GREAT BAY BOULEVARD WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA Best birdwatching road in Ocean County. The boulevard is actually a narrow two-lane road that was the beginning of a never-built causeway to the shore to connect to Atlantic City. The road provides access to a great sweep of salt marsh, with opportunities for fishing, bird-watching or just staring at the expanse of grass and water. The Boulevard can be accessed off Rt. 9 in Tuckerton. EVENTS IN NEW JERSEY Due to the public health emergency, events may have been cancelled. New Jersey's annual calendar of events and festivals is chock full of distinctive celebrations that make the state unique. The towpath meanders south from Frenchtown for a bit before it hits the canal itself. From here, bicyclists can pedal along the Delaware River all the way to Trenton. Or, follow the Raritan River until it hits New Brunswick. If you didn’t bring your own bike, Cycle Corner (52 Bridge St.) is a top spot in the OCEAN CITY | VISITNJ.ORG Just what makes Ocean City so great? First, there are the eight miles of sparkling ocean and bay beaches, all meticulously maintained. Next, there are two and half miles of boardwalk containing eight full blocks of family amusements (from 6th to 14th Sts.) like OC Waterpark, plus Gillian's Wonderland Pier. The Boardwalk is where you’ll also find the Music Pier, where concertsMUSIC ON THE GREEN
Music Festival at Atlantis Golf Course at Cuisine on the Green. $25 includes a meal prepared by the Culinary students. Music by the Benjamins and the Outsiderz. Festival will be outside and beverages will be available for purchase. EATONTOWN L.E.A.D. CARNIVAL Mark your calendar to attend the L.E.A.D. FEST Carnival to enjoy food, rides and more at the Monmouth Mall. In addition to fairway rides, there will be entertainment and attractions included in the general admission price of $5. Purchase discounted ride tickets and mega passes in advance online. Monday, June 7 is dollar ticket night withall rides $1 each.
