New Member. Apr 29, 2021. #1. I come here seeking help. I’m retired Air Force and was issued an A2 flight jacket in 1989. My son will be commissioning in the Army next week and as you all know, the Army has authorized the A2 to be optional with their new AGSU. My jacket is still in great condition- I put leather condition on it every fewyears.

NYLON.. | PAGE 2 | VINTAGE LEATHER JACKETS FORUM Apr 26, 2021. #26. I never thought I would have any interest in Nylon jackets, mostly because it was too similar to work since modern textiles are largely defined by Polyester and Nylon. DELAMINATION SPOTS ON MY BR L2A NYLON JACKET Apr 27, 2021. #1. When photographing my collection recently, I noticed some spots on the back of my Buzz Rickson L2A jacket. My first thought was of course that something was on the surface. I live in the forest and we get a lot of pine sap and figured I must has had some sap get on the jacket. I took it inside and carefully wiped it down inSHIPPING WRINKLES
Mar 13, 2021. #4. Surely a jacket shouldn't have developed unsightly wrinkles during the the time it takes to ship, and more minor wrinkles are simply natural. It definitely sounds to me like the buyer has an agenda. Ask for pics, and depending on your situation offer him the IRVIN RAF FLYING JACKETS Welcome to VLJ BJB. Unless you want a modern jacket with pockets I would not go with the modern Aviation leathercraft jacket. The three eastman jackets are all good copies of WW11 'Irvin' flying jackets. But they are expensive. Another option would be Aero Leather inScotland.
BUZZ RICKSON 37J1 ADMIRAL VERSION REVIEW Apr 7, 2018. #1. I thought I would do a quick review of my Buzz Rickson 37J1 "Admiral" version. I have customised the jacket in a number of ways. The most obvious is the collar. The original high style button collar, I have had changed to a varsity collar - I do have it seems a penchant for this type of collar as it so much easierto wear.
RENAISSANCE WAX
Mar 4, 2019. #13. If you want to use wax on leather to preserve the surface without making any harm to it - at least it should be blend of some natural beeswax with some natural vegetable oils. It still might cause some unpleasant thin white layer on leather which is quite hardto get rid of.
CWU36P TOP GUN MAVERICK 36p should be used on spring/summer. 45 on winter but it don’t have the same overall light look like in the movie. I find it in mint condition on Depopbut eBay is a great source if you look carefully and ask many question before buying. You have also sometimes good stuff onVinted.fr.
