The BC Italian-French Car Show happens on the Father’s Day Sunday at North Vancouver’s Waterfront Park. As the name suggests, it features Italian and French vehicles. The cooking lesson starts at 7 pm and runs for about anhour.

VANCOUVER'S DA VINCI EXPERIENCE The Da Vinci Experience is an immersive event that showcases Leonardo Da Vinci’s art. In 2021 it takes place in Metro Vancouver at Tsawwassen Mills.. The exhibition opens on June 29th and it’s expected to run until December in 2021. NORTH VANCOUVER RESTAURANTS North Vancouver Pubs and Bars. The Black Bear Pub is a pub at 1177 Lynn Valley Road by Lynn Valley Shopping Centre. Tap & Barrel at #8 Lonsdale Avenue at Shipbuilders’ Square is Lower Lonsdale’s newest, largest and busiest pub and restaurant. MARINE DRIVE ON THE NORTH SHORE Marine Drive is the main street in West Vancouver that spans from Horseshoe Bay to North Vancouver. Places of interest can be found on both sides of the road. FREE OUTDOOR CONCERTS IN VANCOUVER Free Concerts in Burnaby. The premier free music event in Burnaby each summer is a one-day event involving the Lower Mainland’s finest classical music. Symphony in the Park – a free outdoor concert by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra at Deer Lake Park. The date in 2020 was going to be on July 18th until it got cancelled. SURREY MINIATURE TRAIN Surrey’s miniature train at Bear Creek Park operates most years over the Easter Long Weekend, daily from mid-February until the end of September, throughout most of October for Halloween, and over the Christmas season from early December until the beginning of January.. Miniature Train & Golf Prices. Regular prices for trains on non-special event days in 2019, including taxes, were $5 per ABBOTSFORD FLEA MARKET Admission to the Abbotsford Flea Market costs $1 for most folk, but free for children ages 9 and under. Parking is also free. Pretty much anybody can participate at the flea market as a vendor. Outdoor spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cost between around $24 and $40. Indoor booths cost around $20 (plus or minus). VANCOUVER'S ALL BRITISH FIELD MEET The Vancouver All British Field Meet takes place at VanDusen Garden at 5251 Oak Street on the Saturday of the May Long Weekend from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. GROUSE MOUNTAIN'S Y2PLAY SKI PASS Y2Play Pass at Grouse Mountain. If you like skiing at Grouse Mountain and want an annual pass, the best deal is to get a Y2Play Pass when they become available starting around mid-February. Buy a pass and you can ski for the remainder of this year’s ski season plus all of next year’s ski season too. ABBOTSFORD TRADEX AND EVENTS Located at 1190 Cornell Street, next to the Abbotsford International Airport, TRADEX is a huge place! The interior is a massive 120,000 square feet in size. The facility includes a couple of 60,000 square feet halls. Larger events fill the entire building. NORTH VANCOUVER'S INTER RIVER PARK What’s in the Area. Near the park is Lynn Canyon Park which is home to the world-famous Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge. The trails from Inter River Park also eventually meet up with the Baden Powell Trail.That trail connects Deep Cove to Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver.. A couple of minutes away from Inter River Park there is Rice Lake which is a beautiful spot to fish and walk around. MAY LONG WEEKEND IN VANCOUVER What to do during the Victoria Day Long Weekend in 2021. Top May Long Weekend activities in the Lower Mainland most years include the Cloverdale Rodeo (which has been cancelled for 2021) and the Vancouver All British Field Meet car show at VanDusen Garden (which is not happening during the May long weekend this year).. Also on the holiday weekend most years are the Royal ABBOTSFORD FLEA MARKET ABBOTSFORD FLEA MARKET & COVID-19. The Abbotsford Flea Market was closed since November 15th of 2020 due to rising cases of the coronavirus. Fortunately, the market reopened on April 18th, 2021, and plans to remain open most Sundays from 6 am to 3 pm.
