Recent DemandTools Reviews "Powerful and valuable tool for a Salesforce Admin" WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST? My team and I rely on this tool every single day to manage our Salesforce data. We heavily use MassImpact, MassEffect, PowerGrid, Single Table Dedup, Find/Report ID's, and PeopleImport and found each of these features to be very effective for accomplishing the various tasks we need to do. I have worked with similar tools before and none of them had the breadth of features that DemandTools does. We couldn't do our jobs without this essential tool!The training and support are also excellent! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. WHAT DO YOU DISLIKE? My ONLY complaint is the cost of the tool. I would have otherwise rated it 10. The cost has increased SIGNIFICANTLY since we first started using the tool. "A must-have tool for all Salesforce Admins" WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST? Demand Tools offers all of the products that any Salesforce Admin will need. If you need to dedupe people in your org, then there are many ways that they approach deduping. If you need to globally change a field on any object, Powergrid will be your friend for that. I was able to mass delete approximately 4 million pieces of information that we no longer needed in our org. Try doing that with your out-of-the-box solutions with Salesforce because it just isn't there. Demand Tools saves me time, effort, and man-power. The benefits of Demand Tools are definitely time, effort, and man-power. I have job builder running every 30 minutes to fix naming conventions where people use all caps or all lower case as well as addresses, etc. I utilize the dedupe feature to well...dedupe folks. I will say that the features available in the deduping function are awesome where you can make the scenarios really broad or tight. We have multiple scenarios that I have written where we start off with tight constrictions since those are the main focus and then we move on to those of less importance. I use the Find/Report IDs and Mass Effect in collaboration with one another to check and do mass uploads of data. This is so much smoother and faster than using any native Salesforce function. I've used the Reassign Ownership some, but we don't need it very much in our org, but it has proven helpful to simply reassign folks assigned to one owner and then just reassign all of them to a new owner. Mass Impact is something that I use frequently because it enables me to fix groups like normalizing addresses and using Proper Case. I built a lot of scenarios in Mass Impact and now I have them running every 30 minutes in Job Builder. Power Grid is by far my favorite tool because it is my global change, mass delete, view and fix everything in one spot tool. Last week I used it to globally remove 4 million pieces of data. I did have to run several batches because trying to run 4 million would have timed out the process, but I was able to do it all behind the scenes without bogging down any other processes. Some of the biggest advantage is -1. I can see more columns and create different queries and save the queries for future use and i get a chance to go back and adjust the query without going back to the very first step where i have setup all the columns again unlike in other tools i have used before. 2. Another advantage is I can directly open a record from the grid view and uncheck selected record if I do not wish to modify them.3. Demand Tool allows me select/deselect fields values which should copy over during de-duplication of any object records, Leads specifically. And combine text values. "Do Not Hesitate to Buy this Product!!" WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST? The integration with Salesforce is the main reason I LOVE the DemandTools suite of products. After working with products that forced me to download my data, make changes, and then upload the changes, using DemandTools was a breath of fresh air. I can manipulate the data real time, based on multiple sets of criteria, save the scenarios and execute (or schedule!) the same updates over and over again. Support from Validity is great as well. Lead Conversion is really great at doing mass converts easily, and Find/Report IDs is great for when the lists we receive do not have all the necessary information to load them correctly. "Love this tool - but could use a UI upgrade" WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST? It is very easy to update and and delete data in Salesforce using this tool. some of the features that I think are particularly helpful are: uploads and updates using Excel, using constants when uploading data, updating data using business logic, identifying and performing deduplication, and insight into error records. When uploading new records, you can specify a constant for any of the fields. So if you know all of the uploaded data is a certain record type or is owned by a particular user, you don't have to update your spreadsheet. You can just use constants. If you have the need to replace one value with another, this tool can do. For example if we run out of stock on a product, we can upload Opportunities with a different product to replace it. The de-dupe has many options for matching and you can build your own. You can peruse through the dupes and determine if you like the algorithm and then use it to automatically dedupe those records. There are some options to determine the master and rules for when the master has blank fields but the dupe has valid data. Finally when records error out, Demand Tools creates a file that you can use to determine the error, correct it and reload. Good, solid tools.My favorite tool is Mass impact. It allows you to update records based on logic only. No file uploads necessary! This is extremely powerful for mass updating records. I've used it to update relationships, correct older data, and update values during migrations. There has been a great upgrade to allow searching for tables. Review collected by andhosted on G2.com.

I would love to be able to search for fields but appreciate the search for tables. I love the FindID tool for finding records in Salesforce. We have used the tools for many years. I like that powergrid allows you to manipulate the data like in a spreadsheet. We are trying to reach 100% deliverability of our emails using Return Path. We are also trying to reach the fastest ramp up time for our new MTAs. We have reached 99%. Return Path helped us multiple times to improve the Deliverability of specific domains. And there were instances we were marked as spam spender and Return Path support team helped us to identify the issues and fix them. Return Path also helped us to identify the right parameters to be set in our Mail Transfer Agents(like no of parallel connections) to result in high delivery rates. Return Path has helped us in warming up new IPs. The email support provided across two times zones(Australia, USA) helped us to balance our work as we are located between the two time zones.Show more

The interface can sometimes be a little laggy if there is a lot of data or options to sort through such as a long client list. Our customer success manager has been amazing in helping us navigate new IP plans and little problems that need attention. She is super responsive and always offering best practicesfor success.
WHAT DO YOU DISLIKE? The acquisition under Validity was very confusing and frustrating to navigate. We felt like we were paying for a service we couldn't use with a contract full of sunset services as a result of the acquisition. It took a long time for us to reestablish who our Account Executive was and get our customer success manager back on ouraccount.

We have been actively working to improve sender scores and inboxing. Tunc Bolluk is Vice President, APAC for Validity. He is responsible for leading sales and for overseeing general management of the region for the company. Tunc brings his extensive regional experience in the digital sector to support Validity’s clients across their marketing, sales, data & CRM business units. For over 20 years, Tunc has worked in general management roles in sales, channel/alliance management, and client services. He has extensive experience leading and mentoring sales teams and executing strategic business plans within the Cloud/SaaS, digital, big data andthe ad-tech space.

He has held positions in Sales, Sales Leadership, Operations, Strategy, and Partnerships. He has provided tactical execution strategies or program deployment guidance for organizations such as Intel Corporation, Motorola, and 3M amongst many others. He is truly passionate about the positive impact that a well-designed, deployed, and executed partner program can bring to an organization and is considered to be a thought leader in the development of indirect sales channels within the SaaS industry. VP – CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT Guy is a passionate advocate for intelligent use of customer data to drive responsive sales and marketing programs. With a knowledge base spanning twenty years, he is globally recognized as an email & data expert and thought leader. Over the past decade Guy led Return Path’s global consulting team and worked with world-famous clients across 6 continents to improve their email delivery, subscriber engagement and revenue. Now Validity’s VP for Customer Engagement (International), he continues to explore his passion for email and data and share it with his clients to maximise their program value. He’s a strong believer in giving back to his community, speaking at flagship events, providing training, and producing fresh and insightful thoughtleadership.

ALEXANDER RUBIN
VP – RECEIVER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Alex Rubin serves as Vice President Business Development at Validity. He is responsible for data acquisition efforts including mailbox provider and filtering company relationships. Alex has worked in leadership roles at several successful start-ups including Return Path (acquired by Validity), RemarQ (acquired by Critical Path), and Rocket Science Games (acquired by Sega Software). Tom Bartel is Validity’s Senior Vice President of Data Services. Tom has more than 20 years of email delivery, data, technology, operations, and privacy experience. He most recently joined Return Path through its acquisition of ThreatWave, where he served as CEO/Founder. Prior to that, he has held roles at Return Path, MessageMedia (acquired by DoubleClick), and founded several otherstartups.
Tom is actively involved in key industry organizations, such M3AAWG and ESPC, and advises start-ups and non-profits. Tom has a Bachelor in Speech Communication from Colorado State University.×

VP – ENTERPRISE & CHANNEL SALES, AMERICAS Karen Friedrich serves as Vice President of Enterprise and Channel Sales for North America. With over 15 years’ experience in enterprise software sales and strategy, Karen has a track record of success in both the private and public sector markets including sales management, product strategy, marketing, channel management, and solution deployment. Karen brings an entrepreneurial drive, strong relationship development skills, and credibility gained through sales and operational experience. CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER Serving as Validity’s CIO, Steve Doyle is responsible for creating and executing upon the business-aligned vision and roadmap for Information Technology systems and solutions at Validity, including IT Corporate Services, telephony, corporate networking, and Core Business Systems. Steve brings more than 25 years of prior industry experience in a variety of IT roles, all in High Tech, SaaS-based industries. Prior to joining Validity, Steve was Vice President of IT & Business Systems for Endurance International Group, where he oversaw Corporate IT, Infrastructure, CRM, Data Warehouse, and other mission-critical business applications for Endurance’s 4,000+ employees, globally.×

Prior to Validity, Lily ran Strategic Partnerships for Optoro – a VC-backed reverse logistics company – where she was responsible for the company’s channel revenue and network of distribution partners. Before that, she was the Co-Founder and COO of Aspire – a tech-enabled employee engagement company – where she managed all business strategy and operations.
