I think the fundamental principle of a university is to prepare democratic, citizens for an open, inclusive, critical, secular, liberal society, which despite its modern outlook also remains embedded into the golden principles of Islam. Another objective of a university, I believe, is for it to constantly strive to achieve a vigorous capacity for creation and change to foster in learners the ability to pre-empt the future national needs and cater for them by incorporating the advances and discoveries of science and the aesthetic contributions of the human spirit. سنڌ يونيورسٽي – معيار جي حڪمت عملي سنڌ يونيورسٽي معياري تعليم ۽ تحقيق جي حاصلات لاءِ هڪ منظم حڪمت عملي جوڙي آهي، جنهن جي ذريعي يونيورسٽيءَ جي اعليٰ اداري واري حيثيت کي بهتر بنائڻ لاءِ پيش رفت جو عمل مسلسل جاري رهي ٿو ته جيئن ملڪ توڙي ٻاهرين دنيا جي يونيورسٽين جي مناسبت سان تخليق، نواڻ ۽ معيار ۾ سنڌ يونيورسٽي پنهنجي منفرد شان ۽ حُسن سان عملي طور ترقيءَ جو سفر طئي

ڪندي رهي.

سنڌ يونيورسٽي قومي تعمير ۽ ترقيءِ ۾ پنهنجو ڪردار ادا ڪرڻ خاطر، زندگي ۽ عمل جي سڀني بنيادي شعبن بشمول سائنس، ٽيڪنالاجي، مينيجمينٽ ۽ سماجي سائنس جي علمن جي تعليم ڏئي ٿي ۽ انهن سڀني علمن ۾ مسلسل تحقيق پڻ ڪرائي ٿي، جنهن مان حاصل ٿيندڙ نئين معلومات، علم ۾ واڌاري آڻڻ سان گڏ، سماجي افاديت ۽ قومي تعمير جو ذريعو پڻ بڻجي ٿي. تنهنڪري يونيورسٽي هميشه تعليم، تحقيق ۽ دريافت جا موقعا فراهم ڪرڻ کي اهميت ڏئي ٿي ته جيئن فرد، قوم ۽ نظام جي ارتقا مڪمل ۽ ڪامل صورت ۾ ٿيندي رهي. جنهن سان ئي سماج ۽ نظام جو لاڳاپو مثبت، صحتمند ۽ باوقار صورت ۾ قائم ۽ برقرار رهي سگهي ٿو. سنڌ يونيورسٽي، سرڪاري ۽ خانگي تعليمي ادارن، تحقيقي مرڪزن ۽ سماجي تنظيمن سان پنهنجا نصابي ۽ پيشيور اڻا لاڳاپا جوڙي، نوجوانن کي تعليم ۽ تحقيق ۾ سگهارو بڻائڻ گهري ٿي ته جيئن قومي ۽ بين الاقوامي سطح تي بني نوع انسان جي فلاح، ترقي ۽ سلامتيءَ جو مقصد حاصل ڪري سگهجي. يونيورسٽيءَ جي معيار جي حڪمت عمليءَ جو مقصد اسان کي ان لائق بڻائڻ آهي ته،

جيئن:

• تعليم ۽ تحقيق جي افاديت مقرر معيارن مطابق حاصل ٿيندي رهي ۽ معيارن کي وڌيڪ بهتر بڻائڻ جو عمل سدا جاري رکجي. • مارڪيٽ ۽ ڪارخانن سان گڏجي ڪم ڪرڻ جو اهڙو مستقل نظام قائم ڪجي، جنهن سان صارفين جو اعتماد به پيدا ٿيندو رهي ته شاگردن لاءِ روزگار جا موقعا به حاصل

ٿيندا رهن.

• لاڳاپيل ڌرين جي موٽ ۽ راين جي روشنيءَ ۾ ڪارڪردگي بهتر بڻائڻ جو عمل

جاري رکجي.

• تعليم ۽ تحقيق جي اعليٰ افاديت – نصابي، هم نصابي، غير نصابي ۽ سماجي تهذيب جي لاڳاپي تحت فراهم ٿيندي رهي. • آءِ.سي.ٽي (ICT) جي بهترين نظام ۽ خدمت جو عمل جاري رکيو وڃي. یونیورسٹی آف سندھ : معیار کے حوالے سے جامع حکمتِ عملی یونیورسٹی آف سندھ، جام شورو معیار کے حوالے سے ایک جامع حکمتِ عملی کا تصور پیش کر کے ملکی و غیر ملکی سطح پر اعلیٰ تعلیم میں اپنی ساکھ بہتر بنانا چاہتی ہے تاکہ یونی ورسٹی کے طلبہ اپنی تخلیقی صلاحیتوں، جدت طرازی اور دیگرخوبیوں کو بہ روئے کار لا کر زندگی کے ہر شعبے میں امتیازی مقام حاصل کرسکیں۔ یونیورسٹی آف سندھ ملک و قوم کی ترقی میں بھی اپنا کردار اسی طرح ادا کرنا چاہتی ہے کہ طلبہ اپنی سوچ اور فکرکو تخلیق و عمل سے گزار کر تکمیل کے مراحل تک پہنچ سکے۔وہ زندگی کے تمام شعبوں سائنس ، ہنر،قائدانہ علوم اور علمِ معاشرت میں اعلیٰ تعلیم فراہم کرنا چاہتی ہے۔یونی ورسٹی آف سندھ کی ترجیحات کا محور ایک صحت مند ، مثبت اور متنوع ماحول میں مسلسل سیکھنے ، تحقیق اور ریاضت کے مواقع پیدا کرنے پر رہے گا۔ یونیورسٹی آف سندھ سرکاری و نجی تعلیمی اداروں ، تحقیقی مراکز، قومی و معاشرتی تنظیموں اور حکومت کے درمیان تعلیمی اور پیشہ وارانہ رابطے کا ذریعہ بننا چاہتی ہے تاکہ پائیدار قومی اور بین الاقوامی ترقی اورفلاح و بہبود کے ذریعے نوجوانوں کو با اختیار بنایا جاسکے۔ معیار کے حوالے سے جامع حکمتِ عملی کے

ABOUT UNIVERSITY

The University of Sindh, the oldest University of the country, was constituted under the University of Sindh Act. No. XVII of 1947 passed by the Legislative Assembly of Sindh. The Act was subsequently revised and modified in 1961 and later.
