MAKES MAIDEN FLIGHT
All British troops to be offered vaccine by 31st July 2021. Land May 24, 2021. The British military expects to have all personnel vaccinated against COVID-19 by the end of July. ALL BRITISH TROOPS TO BE OFFERED VACCINE BY 31ST JULY 2021 Daniel Kawczynski, MP for Shrewsbury and Atcham, asked: “To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, when all armed forces personnel will have received their vaccination against covid-19.”. The aircraft, apparently incorrectly showing as a Dutch F-35 on a popular flight racking website was operating from HMS Queen Elizabeth. The aircraft carrier and her Carrier Strike Group are currently at sea in the area. UK CUTTING E-7 WEDGETAIL ORDER The UK has originally intended to operate five E-7 airborne early warning, it will now only operate three. The Defence Command Paper released today, titled ‘Defence in a Competitive Age‘, states: “We will retire the E 3D Sentry in 2021, as part of the transition to the more modern and more capable fleet of three E 7A Wedgetail in2023.

UK ANNOUNCES NEW TYPE 83 DESTROYER The Defence Command Paper released today, titled ‘ Defence in a Competitive Age ‘, confirms that the UK will develop a new destroyer type, the Type 83. The white paper states: “The concept and assessment phase for our new Type 83 destroyer which will begin to. replace our Type 45 destroyers in the late 2030s.”. LATEST LOOK AT THE TYPE 26 FRIGATE The Type 26 frigate represents the future backbone of the Royal Navy and a massive leap forward in terms of flexibility of surface vessels enjoyed by the service. It will replace the 13 Type 23 frigates of the Royal Navy and export orders are being sought after by BAE.
