VENIPUNCTURE SAFETY
Venipuncture is the collection of blood from a vein, usually for laboratory testing. At TWU, researchers in kinesiology, nutrition, and other academic areas may perform venipuncture as part of their studies involving human subjects. CAYUSE HUMAN ETHICS (CAYUSE IRB) All investigators, co-investigators, advisors, TWU research team member must have a Cayuse account. If an account needs to be established, an email should be sent to irb@twu.edu with the person’s name, TWU email address, campus and department. The IRB staff will then create an account in Cayuse. Please note that this process may take 1-2 days. DISTANCE EDUCATION SLP DEGREE & ADMISSION DETAILS An 11 th cycle of the distance venue of the TWU MS program in Speech-Language Pathology has been authorized. This program is designed for students who commit to working in the schools of Texas following graduation. The 27-month program will begin in May 2021, with applications being accepted between August 15 and October 15,2020.
